Although you will read now and then a credible article from a credible journalist at the NYT or WaPo, and every once in a while a thoughful political pundit on a tv news program will objectively analyze the current political situation, for the greatest part, the bias that emanates from Mainstream media coverage of news is laughable and totally predictable. 97%, at least, of the coverage is slanted against Romney and all critics of Obama and the Democratic Party, and slanted in favor of Obama. MSM don't even try to hide their bias -- they act as if the public fully embraces their view of Romney as an empty tax cheat and rich enemy of the middle class and poor. To the MSM there's no longer a question of who would be the best President -- they have chosen Obama and are not even considering any assets Romney might bring to the table. MSM have associated Fox with the Tea Party with Romney with New Republicans with anyone who protests against government interventions. The viewpoint of MSM is that a growing, scary faction on the Right works toward billionaires gaining control of the economy, thus, shutting out the poor and middle class except to use their cheap labor as the billionaires destroy unions. This cartoon version presented by MSM is surreal. It's such a weak attempt to spread propaganda that it's actually becoming humorous. It's a joke. FG_AUTHORS: M. Farmer |
